Coconut oil is rapidly becoming incredibly popular in the western world with many celebrities hailing the super oil. However, on my travels to Colombia I discovered it is a traditional product in the tropical world that has been used for thousands of years holding various properties in food, medicine and industry. And it is no surprise why its popularity is sky rocketing in this part of the world with the many benefits in obtains.
